I primarily use these services like I would a video-game, or Table-Top Boardgame/Roleplaying game. As such, my reviews do reflect this. If/when I review a companion-service, bear this in mind, that I do not care about “does it feel like a girlfriend”, as much as; “does it fulfill the role I have specified.”
These are not professional reviews, they are my personal thoughts about the services. I found professional reviews in the space to be poorly written advertisements at best, or affiliate-link shilling at worst, and decided, “people deserve better”, and since no one did a bender and decided to make their own with blackjack and hookers, I guess it was up to me, though sadly without the hookers and blackjack.
I use a 0-3 scoring system. Think of it like an slight extended Steam-review:
0: Yeah, no. 1: Not recommended. 2: Recommended if it suits what you need. 3: heavily recommended.
I do use some of these services myself and may notice new features added etc. In such a case I may place an update section at the top highlighting the new features, rather than attempt to rewrite the review.
The reviews have no referal codes or referal links. You’re given the direct homepage link.
None. If there ever were to come such a time, I will flag and make it impossible to miss it has been sponsored, you can read more about my 3 rules on sponsorship at the about author section, but TL:DR; No one can pay for a good review.
